"We're on the seafood diet. We see food and we eat it."
That quote is attributed to a Cefyn Fforest prop describing the diet habits of he and his fellow-front rowers at last year's GO Rugby Festival in Cardiff.

We've taken that feedback literally. Any food you see at our Festival this Saturday in Cardiff you will have to eat.

Take a look below at the vendors who will be joining us and the wonderful treats they will be serving!

LILO'S PASTA

"So let us introduce ourselves. We are Chloe & Liam, founders of Lilo's in 2014 and keen pasta enthusiasts (as you can probably guess).   Let's start with one of the most common questions we get asked on a daily basis, Where does the name 'Lilo's' come from? It's simple really, we took the first part of Liam 'Li' and the end part of Chlo 'lo'. We come up with many alternatives but we felt that this one really put our own personal touch to the business. It all began on March 31, 2014 in our little dub box food truck. As you can imagine our first day certainly didn't go as planned!   After battling through cold winters, boiling summers & extremely windy scenario's, we finally decided that in 2016 we would open our first pasta shop - and what better place to locate it than where we first began. Our first pasta shack opened its doors in a little town called Pencoed on November 16, 2015. Our latest venture has led us to Newport Road, Cardiff where we have just opened our second pasta shack. Don't worry, we aren't stopping there. We hope to have another location in early 2019." Lilo's Pasta Website

GRUB BOX

"We are a Street food vendor that specializes in handcrafted gourmet burgers and southern fried chicken with a modern contemporaneous twist.   The inception of Grub Box became a reality when we decided that we wanted to branch out from the traditional restaurant and food retail establishments and create something unique - a one-of-a-kind mobile restaurant. Serving gourmet modern dishes made with quality ingredients."

HANDLEBAR BARISTA

"We’re not sure exactly when or where we hit upon the idea of a coffee trike. It was probably during a ride in the Welsh countryside or a break in a coffee shop. It's quite likely the idea was ‘developed’ over a beer or two after that.   Whoever and however we came up with it, we knew right away it was the perfect way to turn a passion for cycling and coffee into a business. After a bit of research we took the plunge and got our hands on a 1930s Pashley No.33 Cargo trike. From that moment she’s been known as Handlebar Barista #1 (or HB1 to her friends).   With some help from Punk Bikes in Cardiff, we restored her, added an electric grinder and a gas-powered Astoria Perla espresso machine. We’ve gone on to work with some of the biggest brands in the world. Along with the likes of Google, Ikea, IBM and Bang Olufsen we work with a huge range of local businesses in Cardiff. We’ve travelled to events and festivals in every corner of the UK even had European adventures in Belgium. We loved the GO Rugby Festival last year and are really looking forward to being part of the GO Family again this year at Llandaff!"

Wonderfully Welsh Hampers

Claire Burgess loves finding the finest produce throughout the country, ensuring they are sourced from local providers in Wales. Wrapping them altogether into stunning hampers that you'll see this Saturday in Cardiff! "The Idea came to me last Christmas when I gave my family members Christmas Hampers using small suppliers from Wales who make Award winning Jams and Chutneys. I’m a Cardiff girl with two grown Sons, who is passionate about supporting local producers and selling quality products. So Wonderfully Welsh Hampers LTD has only been running for a few months and is still finding its feet. I am determined to promote Award winning preserves, all locally sourced and made here in Wales. I'm very excited to meet the GO Family and, all going well, I hope to be at other wonderful festivals in Cardiff soon - details of which can be found on the Wonderfully Welsh Hampers Ltd Facebook page.
